- This site helps locate child care for families in the Durham, NC area. It is the result of a partnership between the Durham Child Care Council and Duke University.
- NAEYC Online
- Accreditation by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) represents the gold standard in child care. You can use this site to learn about NAEYC accreditation and to search for NAEYC-accredited centers throughout the country.
- Consumer Products Safety Commission
- This site provides information on all product recalls, including toys. It's a good site to check periodically to see if anything in your household needs evaluation.
- Bicycle Helmet Safety Institute

- National SAFE KIDS Website
